My name is Carole Touati, and I am a self made Author Photographer.
I began photography to expresse my artistic view on the world around us. This growing passion has been extending from its original birth, based on geometry and abstraction found in architecture, to the most emotional field of street photography.
When I compose geometric views, my main focus is to create artistic photos with the city buildings around us.
Although I have always been attracted by both architecture and geometry, I am also very keen of abstract views.
Therefore, I combine all these elements thanks to the extraordinary diversity of architectures, so as to create artistic and geometric views.
With my compositions, I hope to make people forget the buildings, the metal, the concret, thanks to an artistic and original capture. The success for me is when the imagination is attracted by different perspectives.
When the eye is trapped by optical illusions the mind tries to elucidate.
I progressively introduced humain presence in my architectural compositions. Very fast, the exciting practice of street photography led me to focus on humain interactions in the street. A way of being the witness of humain society and it's variety on a specific time in history. A way to learn about people, feel a kind of emotional proximity.
